The Spirit of the LORD Is Saying: What Are YOU Doing HERE?

"But the Lord said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (I Kings 19:9)

"'Go out and stand before me on the mountain,' the Lord told him..And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. And a voice said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” " (I Kings 19:11-13)

We see from these passages regarding Elijah, the great prophet of God..yes, the prophet whom God revealed to Peter, James, and John as Jesus stood on the mountain (Mt. Sinai) along with Moses as Jesus was transfigured before the three disciples. He was fearful, not of the king, Ahab, but the kings wife - Jezebel.

Too many in the body of Christ today are afraid of the wrong person and for the wrong reason. God is calling us to a place of stillness, refreshing, and strengthening of our Faith and our reliance and focus ON HIM..not on what the world is throwing at us. Amen..
