Many injured at factory blast in Russian Rostov region

At least ten people were wounded as a powerful explosion partially destroyed a polyester staple fiber plant in the Shakhty, Rostov region in southern Russia at 11.30 local time Wednesday (January 17), the town's authorities said in a statement.
