WHO Watch: WHO/Europe Online Press Briefing | January 16, 2024
Updates on seasonal respiratory infections and launch of new report on the numbers of lives saved by COVID-19 vaccines in the European Region.
With several health systems across the European Region under pressure from seasonal respiratory infections, WHO/Europe will provide an epidemiological update on influenza and COVID-19 and lay out what health systems and individuals can do to reduce further infections this winter.
WHO/Europe will also announce the findings of a new report detailing the numbers of lives saved in the European Region thanks to safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines.
