Tombol's Gentle Touch for His Adorable Baby Sister

Orangutan mother Sarikei from Chester Zoo is holding her baby daughter. She is trying to bite/suckle Mum's mouth. Mum's hand is bigger than her daughter's head. getting more active every day, the little one grabs the rope, biting it and pulling herself up.
That little foot grabbed Mum's hair to hold on tight.
Sarikei older son Tombol comes to have a look at his baby sister and gently touches her face. Was that a smile from Tombol? The baby is suckling on mum's face again. Tombol touches the baby's hand, but Mum's reaction makes him pull away. Tombol tries to get closer. He tries again to touch her hand, but Mum is very protective. Tombol goes off and plays with the hessian sack.
The baby was born on the 31st of August 2023 to Mother Sarikei and Father Willie I believe. I believe they haven't named the baby yet.
Next week back to Jazz and the babies again!
