The crisis of identity we face stems from this one issue. We continue to imagine an existence free from our creator, at liberty to define character, meaning, and purpose. No matter how hard mankind works to redefine his existence, it will fail. Why? Because every other construct man has derived concerning his origin is a lie. From the earliest records mankind has redefined creation to fit his desire to determine life on his own terms. From culture to culture, mankind worked to take what had been given and define it by their own hand. The Genesis narrative is the only account that defines mankind in existence. When will we accept that truth?
