In "Abigail," a group of aspiring criminals abducts the 12-year-old daughter of a powerful underworld figure who is a talented ballerina. Their plan is to demand a $50 million ransom by keeping her under their watch overnight in an isolated mansion. However, as time passes, the kidnappers begin to disappear one by one, and they soon realize with growing dread that they are trapped inside with a girl who is anything but ordinary.
"Abigail" is a bold and bloodthirsty take on the vampire genre, brought to life by Radio Silence, the directing duo known for their recent horror successes such as "Ready or Not," "Scream" (2022), and "Scream VI." The screenplay is written by Stephen Shields ("The Hole in the Ground," "Zombie Bashers") and Guy Busick (known for the "Scream" franchise and "Ready or Not").
