Men Need To Be Heard Show (Ep:39) Men in Crisis: Building A Haven For Male Domestic Violence Victims

This week my guest is Bill Corbitt from the Foundation For Parental Rights For Veteran Fathers. Bill returns to discuss the organizations efforts to open a Domestic Violence Shelter called Daddy's House for Men in Atlanta Ga.

What many don't know is that despite the overwhelming evidence that shows men are victims of Domestic Violence every bit as much as women are the fact is there are only 2 Shelters for men in the entire United States and in many countries there isn't even one.

Bill joins me to discuss the issue of IPV against men, the lack of awareness or attention to their plight and why shelters for men are so desperately needed. He talks about the goals of the organization which is a 501-3c to open the first shelter and then continue to add additional shelters across the United States and then the world.

We also discuss the lack of caring or concern from politicians who when asked to help fund shelters for men often turn a blind eye to the issue.
