Winter Freeze Up - Ep. 18 January 16, 2024

Progress! After stumbling around with the measuring stick a bit (I must have had it tipped back in the first measurement) I did determine that we got another 1/2 clear ice added to the bottom. The slush is freezing into another layer of white ice on top of the last slush. In the upcoming even colder nights that should freeze through and bond with the frozen slush which is already on top of the clear ice. I wouldn't be surprised to see the club's orange trail stakes on the lake by the week end!
