CAIRO CHANTS FOR SOUTH AFRICA

Just another example of the worldwide support for South Africa taking Israel to the UN’s top court for genocide in Gaza. Protesters in Cairo chant the name of Nelson Mandela’s grandson, Mandla, who hailed his country’s lawsuit at the ICJ. However, they also shout they’re in ‘fear ‘and ‘shame’, suggesting they feel their country should have taken a firmer stand.
Egypt is part the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, which was one of the first blocs to publicly back Pretoria’s case. South Africa says over 50 countries have expressed support for its allegations against Tel Aviv. However, notably, not one is from the West.
