Specialists of the repair and restoration unit of the 36th combined arms army of the Vostok group of troops repair and restore military vehicles, weapons and armored vehicles that were damaged after shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces or were out of order. It takes no more than two hours to replace failed units of a tractor that arrived under its own power at the repair and restoration battalion.

According to technicians, in winter the equipment works to the limit - all components wear out much faster. To save time on repairs, they decided to use the so-called aggregate method, that is, the faulty unit is completely replaced with a new one. In addition to current repairs, equipment is also being modernized here. For example, a special mesh is placed on the equipment, which protects it from attacks by enemy drones.

Representatives of military equipment manufacturing plants, who have been here since the beginning of the special operation, help implement all innovations.
After repair, each engine is tested on a special machine. According to the technicians, they ‘install the engines on the frame, test them, start air, electricity - they check all working components’. The tests last at least two hours. The engine is installed on the machine only when the operator sees that it is fully operational.
