OVERCOMING DISCOURAGEMENT THIS YEAR

One of the greatest weapons of spiritual warfare in the enemy's arsenal is fear and discouragement. Discouragement makes you do things you would have never thought to do.

Probably last year was not a lucky year for you, you lost everything dear to you, your job, marriage, relationship, and even loved ones.

You are discouraged, have lost all hope and your faith is now unstable, and you are like, “Where is God."

Today am here to encourage you, being the first day of this year, that God sees and He has always been with you through it all.

A good example is David (1 Samuel 27:1-7) who after being chased up and down by Saul, chose to seek refuge in the enemy's territory, the same evil he was meant to destroy.

Most of the time we are like David, we give in to the same evil we should destroy/ fight, and we give in to our old habits, and addictions of all kinds. We are so discouraged that we do not know what to do.

This year resolves to overcome discouragement. This is the year of restoration and blessings.
