Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

A weak system passed through last night giving most of us another nuisance snow. Salt will work great on this today as will the sunshine as temps will be popping up into the lower-30s. The only downfall will be that it'll be breezy. Quiet conditions are on-tap for tonight with skies ranging from clear to partly cloudy. Right now, it looks like lows will fall into the low-teens, but if there's a few clouds in spots, that will keep temps up a bit. More relatively mild weather continues for Tuesday with partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low-30s. We could see a little freezing drizzle or very light snow later Tuesday night. Lows will be in the upper-20s. Wednesday looks breezy and mild with a little patchy drizzle possible. Highs could touch 40 degrees! The system for Wednesday night into Thursday looks like some areas would get some rain that would change to a little snow, but areas farther to the north and west might get in on some snow. It's too early to make the exact call on this, but we'll keep you updated. Highs will top out in the mid-30s. Don't get too excited though before right after this storm system departs, it gets cold again with temperatures back into the teens by Friday, Saturday and Sunday for highs.
