The looming gold standard is clearing the barnacles

http://www.matthaydenblog.com A headline from mid November had a quote from a celebrity gardener about barnacles. The story was so clearly symbolic I made a couple of videos about it. Recently there have been several stories about cocaine bricks covered in barnacles appearing on beaches over Christmas. Looks like another example of foreshadowing to me.
