Matthew grew up within the Greek Orthodox culture but didn't have a relationship with Jesus and was extremely sceptical of God's existence, let alone Jesus being God. It wasn't until Matthew had some desperate prayers answered and a friend witnessed to him over Playstation that he began to seek Jesus after first trying to disprove the Bible.
