North Woodlawn Cemetery in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl 1/14/24 Ray

North Woodlawn Cemetery, an African-American cemetery located east of Interstate 95 near Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a fascinating discovery as I toured around the area. I find that cemeteries are some of the best areas to learn the history of an area. This find was no exception as we can see the progression of moving from a racist country to what we have today. We are NOT a systemically racist country thanks to living out the Founding Fathers ideal of "in order to form a more perfect Union".
