Woman sitting on car seat killed when car hit median on I-465

A woman sitting on a child seat in the back of a car was killed when the car slammed into a median on I-465 early Sunday morning.  Officers responded to the 10th Street ramp on I-465 just after 4:30 a.m.  Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers on the scene say a female passenger was sitting on top of a car seat in the back seat of the car at the time of the crash. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.  The woman's identity has not been released.
