Biden has largest war chest of any Dem candidate in history

On Monday, the Biden-Harris reelection campaign revealed that it currently possesses $117 million, asserting that this marks the highest amount ever for a Democratic candidate at this stage of the race.

The team reported a fundraising total exceeding $97 million in the fourth quarter of 2023, encompassing contributions from the campaign, joint fundraising committees, and the Democratic National Committee.

In the third quarter of the same year, the campaign disclosed a fundraising amount exceeding $71 million, resulting in a cash reserve of nearly $91 million.

Additionally, during the second quarter of the previous year, the team raised over $72 million, securing $77 million in cash, The Hill reported.
