The Old and New Covenant

The Old Covenant was made by Almighty God to His subjects, the ancient Israelites. It was a covenant with laws when kept, blessings were given, when violated curses followed. It involved a sacrificial system designed for sinners to feel the pain of having caused the death of innocence. The Old Covenant was modified into the New Covenant after the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ to includes many great blessings including: the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit on all of mankind, eternal life and additional laws that help with loving one another and helping each other mature spiritually.Show more
