Under supervision of experienced instructors, the servicemen performed live fires using Mukha RPG-18 anti-tank grenade launchers and Shmel RPO-A rocket-propelled anti-personnel flame throwers. These types of weapons during the special military operation show high effectiveness against enemy armoured vehicles, including those of Western-made samples.
-
Servicemen trained to engage targets at distances of more than 500 metres, a distance that a rocket-propelled munition covers in less than three seconds.
-
The Shmel RPO-A shell has a 93-mm calibre, and is not inferior to 152-mm artillery shells in terms of high-explosive and incendiary effect. The aiming range of the flamethrower with a diopter sight is 600 metres, and with an optical sight up to 850 metres. Source
