A UPS promotion video highlights a new program aimed at hiring more black female pilots in the name of “diversity.” Angel Hughes, a pilot for UPS claims people look at her like a “unicorn.” UPS invested in and is focused on hiring black female pilots to “diversify the skies” because representation in the sky is very important. This pilot claims people have never seen a black female pilot. Imagine if these companies hired based on qualifications and not race or gender. DEI in the airline industry is going to get people killed.
