Hero Police Officer Rescue Girl from Ice Water Complete update and photage #policerescue #rescuegirl

Vermont State Trooper Michelle Archer responded to a residence on East View Road in Cambridge following a report that an 8-year-old girl and her 6-year-old sibling had fallen through the ice into a pond on their property while playing.

Archer, who was patrolling the area, reached the pond in less than five minutes after receiving the call. She promptly entered the icy waters equipped with a rope and flotation device to rescue the child. Meanwhile, the other child had already been rescued by a nearby homeowner.

Successfully bringing the child out of the water, Archer handed her over to Trooper Keith Cote, who then transported her to a waiting ambulance for treatment.
