Northern Macedonians celebrate ancient Vevcani carnival

Hundreds of people flooded the streets of Vevcani in North Macedonia to attend a spooky costume parade. The tradition is believed to be more than 14 centuries old and is held in the village to celebrate the New Year according to the Julian calendar.
