Boom Balloon Flower is a member of the Bombard-Mint family.
Boom Balloon Flower costs 350 Sun. (-25 Sun on levels 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10.)
Boom Balloon Flower released a balloon every 3.25 seconds. (-0.25 seconds per level.)
Boom Balloon Flower's balloons can then be placed on any tile - up to a maximum of three (3).
When a zombie touches a balloon, it will explode dealing 575 damage. (+50 damage per level with an addition +25 per level damage being added on levels 4, 6, 8 and 10.)
Boom Balloon Flower's last for 90 seconds before popping.

When given plant food, Boom Balloon Flower will launch a Doom-shroom Balloon. When this balloon reaches the 5th column, it will explode dealing 875 damage. (+50 damage per level with an addition +25 per level damage being added on levels 4, 6, 8 and 10.)

Commentary:
For players who like micro-managing and not waiting for the recharge of plants, this is your kind of plant. While the damage is a little lower than you'd like for a Bombard-Mint plant, Boom Balloon Flower makes up for that with a quick recharge time for its balloons.

Bottom Line:
Straight up, we do not like micro-managing plants. Plants like Holly Barrier, Banana Launcher and Boom Balloon Flower just make things more annoying than enjoyable.

That said, this is not a bad plant. The damage this plant can do can quickly thin out a herd of lesser horde zombies.
Doom-shroom can be more of a softener but again, would allow for easy pickings one it has exploded. And the Doom Balloon looks cool.

We have also found that one does not need more than three (3) of these plants even at level 1. The balloon respawn time is quick so one does not need a lot of Sun or even plants to clear levels. Just move balloons around.
