January 14, 2024 - I would like to clarify something I tried to say here. An amendment to the Constitution must be proposed by 3/4 of either Congress or the Several States and to ratify it you must have 2/3 of the Congress or Several States, which in the era when this Document came into being was only 13 states thereby 9 being the 3/4 threshold they needed for ratification.
