Learn to recognize patterns, both in your own life and in the world around you, both good and bad... I believe that it is this very thing that Mr.Miagi showed us with "wax on, wax off" that there are movement patterns hidden in plain sight throughout our daily lives that may be used to practice our crafts, I believe this is what Musashi really meant when he spoke of knowing the way broadly & seeing it in all things.
