African Americans turn out in force for special election
6 years ago
Doug Jones is the first Democrat to win a Senate race in Alabama in 25 years thanks in large part to a key demographic-- African American voters. They made up 29% of the vote, a much larger share than expected. 93% of African American men voted for the Democrat. And a whopping 98% of African American women.
