This is a 118th birthday salute to actor William Bendix. He was born on Jan. 14, 1906. We start with the Lux Radio Theater's The Life of Riley. What! This was already a long running radio sitcom. The answer is, William Bendix made a movie in 1949, called The Life of Riley. (I will be uploading that movie today). This broadcast is a radio adaptation, from May 8, 1950. Enjoy the program.
