A volcano has begun to erupt again, threatening the fishing town of Grindavik (Iceland) .
According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office, the eruption occurred after a series of earthquakes near the city.
"The lava is flowing a few hundred meters north of the city - that's 400 to 500 metres," said Kristin Jonsdottir from the Icelandic Meteorological Office (IMO). "Lava flows towards Grindavik."
