Former President Donald Trump’s trial in New York came to a head this week, as the presiding judge wrote an email using all caps to his lawyers, warning them that if President Trump wants to speak on the case, he better not mention the attorney general, (or a list of other pertinent topics) or he will be kicked out of the courtroom.

Shortly after Judge Arthur Engoron attempted to impose limits on Trump's closing arguments, Trump's mother-in-law passed away.

Judge Engoron then denied the request by Trump's attorneys to delay the closing arguments to accommodate the funeral.
