China's been hit with a lot of major disasters in just the last few years—major flooding, earthquakes, and Covid-19 to name a few. Dealing with these disasters often exposes to the world what Chinese people see on a day-to-day basis—government corruption, incompetence and a complete disregard for peoples' wellbeing. In this episode of China Uncensored, we look at new draft laws to make it easier for the CCP to cover up its incompetence, why it needs laws to do what it's already doing, and how this could play out for the CCP.
