Meats Which God Hath Created to Be Received With Thanksgiving

I dedicate this video to my friend Lassi who has crossed the Jordan ahead of us.

Our flock of some twenty sheep is the progeny of the small flock Lassi initially gave me nine years ago. My confidence and skills in processing our own meat is thanks to his tutelage. Our deep freeze was a gift from Lassi and his wife, Abida, just two months ago.

I know the progression of Fiona and I as farmers (after leaving the suburbs in Ormeau) really blessed Lassi— he told me a few times over the years how proud he was of me. What can I say? I had a great teacher.

Lassi was always just a phone call away when I needed advice with the sheep. This I will miss.
