My friend and brother, Lassi, passed into glory on 7 January 2024.

This is the livestream video of the memorial service, and celebration of his life, held at the Pimpama School of Arts hall on 12 January. It was standing room only— a testament to the number of lives Lassi touched in his 67 years on earth. (19/05/1956 - 07/01/2024)

Over the last twelve or so years, Lassi and I shared some special moments— including a powerful, healing moment in 2013 when I bared my soul with Lassi. Nothing planned. It just happened. Lassi was a man that other men could trust. Very rare. He will be greatly missed.

Lassi and I were there for each other through some painful seasons and I will always cherish the memories of dropping into his house after work to sit with him at his dining table and talk over a cuppa.
Lassi was a wealth of knowledge— he was outside the system well before most even knew there was a system. Lassi and I connected quickly when we met in 2011. He and I could talk about everything from the financial system and gold/silver through to politics, off-grid living and end-time revival. Lassi had such a heart to see a move of God in Australia. We’d often share our prophetic insights and hopes and dreams.

Lassi always had a genuine interest in how people were travelling and made himself available to listen and to help. In that, he was an inspiration and has left us all something to aspire to. Lassi (and later his wife, Abida) was always very generous and kind to my whole family.

Lassi was a father figure to many, as the crowd and the depth of emotion at the memorial today attested. I think for most of us, we just thought Lassi would always be there.

Love you my brother and my friend. I’m gonna miss you. See you on the other side. 🙏
