The Straight Wall is a 110 KM long linear fault easily seen from earth in a telescope but as with most features on the moon it is best seen on a specific time in the lunar phases.

For the Straight Wall the best time is when the moon is eight days old. You can also see it when the moon is 22 days old but it looks far more dramatic when the moon is eight days old. I was finally able to see it at eight days old in my 12" Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope. I'll show you the video and photos I got
