Disney loses for the 2nd time at the Global Globe Awards to Universal Studios and Warner Bros.

Disney released movies like the Star Wars trilogy, Marvel movies like Antman and the Wasp: Quantamania (476 million dollars), The Marvels (205 million dollars), The Guardians of the Gallaxy Vol. 3, and the recent live-action remake race swap The Little Mermaid (569 million dollars), and Indiana Jone and the Dial of Destiny ($384 million million dollars) almost made it.

Universal Studios had several movies that they released, from Oppenheimer (950 million dollars), and The Super Mario Movie (4.9 billion dollars). The 10th movie of the Fast and Furious franchise movie "Fast X" made (704 million dollars). For horror movies, Five Nights At Freddy's made (295 million dollars) and M3GAN making (181 million dollars).

Warner Bros did a deal with Mattel and made a Barbie live-action movie starring Ryan Gosling as Ken and Margot Robbie as Barbie, and several other actors and actresses as Barbies and Kens. That movie made (1.4 billion dollars).

The Disney company was too focused on making movies that too much representation, regarding the race swapping to make it feel like African American kids could be represented in a heroic way. LGBTQ has thrown in movies like the animated movies like Elemental and The Stranger World is the last few years, and even TV shows like The Owl House focusing on LGBT, and The Proud Family Louder and Prouder, which is a racist show.
This is why people stopped watching Disney content.

If Disney stopped with the representation focus and instead focus on writing a good storyline, they would get viewership again.
