LOC is the line of control in Kashmir between India and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. There are some breathtaking and beautiful valleys on both sides of the border. Gurez valley of India and Neelum valley of Pakistan occupied Kashmir are the two most popular and beautiful valleys. Neelum river runs through both these valleys. There’s another valley close to the LOC, which is called Tulail valley in Kashmir. Tulail valley is 20 kms from Gurez valley. There are some very beautiful and peaceful villages in Tulail valley. Village life in Kashmir, especially near LOC border is quite peaceful. Village folks live a simple and humble life in these Kashmiri villages near POK border. The best time to visit Gurez and Tulail valley in Kashmir is July-September. Tulail valley is hardly 200 kms away from Srinagar. You can reach Gurez and Tulail by road which is in a good condition most of the way except some bad patches after Razdan Pass.
