Of Melchizedek and Ancient Aliens: Did a Pre-Incarnate Form of Christ Help Civilize the World?

Post-Modern man is of the view that belief in God is a primitive artifact of uncivilized times. This as life without God, even with mountains of debt used to hide many social problems, becomes more and more uncivilized in the West. The present majority view is that man pulled himself up by his own bootstraps, but a growing minority have come to believe that Man had help on the path to modern civilization. It is fun to speculate that Ancient Aliens provided such help, because Ancient Aliens don't put any call upon one to refrain from unholy living.
