Now the data is still out there, not that we need it, for the evidence of excess deaths is all around us, being ignored like society deftly ignores the the truth of the homeless and the suicide rate, but Barry, for all his bravery, still faces seven years jail.

Initially he called himself Winston Smith for he identified himself with the doomed victim of Orwell's 1984, but now it's like he's writing the alternative ending. The one where Winston escaped the insignificance of anonymity, to stand before us all, as a man of conviction and stated, "I am Barry Young."
