The New IFB cult leader Steven Anderson thinks Saints in the Old Testament went to Heaven before the cross of Christ! This is a denial of the numerous scriptures that describe OT kings as "sleeping" with their fathers (1 Kings 1:21, 1 Kings 2:10, 2 Samuel 7:12, 1 Kings 11:42-43, 2 Chronicles 9:30-31 etc.), the OT kings sleeping directly correlates with the fact that Christ was the firstfruits of "them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20) and the fact OT Saints in Abraham's Bosom were being "comforted" (Luke 16:25).
