FAILING A Thru-Hike in Grizzly Country | Montana's Cabinet Mountains Wilderness High-Route

Welcome back to another video here on the channel! This one takes us back to August of 2023, when myself and a friend attempted a 25-mile thru-hike in the heart of Montana's Cabinet Mountains Wilderness. This was meant to be a multi-day trip, and a somewhat off-trail high route that I created. Unfortunately, after a day of backpacking and hiking through this remote part of the state, I had no choice but to turn back. Contributing factors? Wolves, bears, and other unforeseen circumstances. Although it was a shortened trip, the story that I came back with was one for the books.
