Another legendary release by the ID Software team taking the Quake franchise into space this time. We play as a heroic Space Marine tasked with eradicating the Strogg threat, an evil space traveling threat that harvests and butchers their fallen adversaries into brutal war machines that are then set loose on their former allied marines!

By this point in 1997/98, Shafticle only had personal access to a Pentium 233Mhz CTX Ezbook with a NeoMagic 2D video card, so needless to say his first play-through back in the day was rather pixelated. But when he could, he’d sneak in and nab his bro’s PC which had an Intergraph3D Voodoo and play the Team Fortress Mod on servers then hosted by our local Internet service provider! Always possible to squeeze in a match or two before heading off to school!
