Economic warfare is nothing new. The US’ oil embargo on the Empire of Japan in 1941 was considered the last straw by Tokyo, which later launched a massive attack on Pearl Harbor in December of that year. It has become so prevalent that nations such as Iran and Russia are witnessing the most aggressive sanctions in human history. Direct Impact’s Rick Sanchez is joined by radio host Garland Nixon to break down and analyze this kind of economic warfare.
