GTCP-80 Turbine APU Test Run

A quick run and test of the starter cutout circuit. I thought I had found the correct wiring so I installed an LED to show and test when the starter will cutout. Next step is to wire it in and add at confirmation cutout light on the control panel. Once the new test stand is built, I will test the bleed air and have the bleed air pressure gauge working.

The video definitely doesn’t show how loud this engine is. It’s deafening and burns considerably more fuel than expected. I’m curious how much it will burn once it starts to get loaded up!
