Hello everyone 😘 Famous "Marry Me Chicken" is creamy, juicy, and full of flavor! It's said that this chicken dinner is so good that if you cook it for your partner, he will propose to you😍😂 Yes, it's THAT amazing! Funny name, but probably the best chicken recipe ever! Serve with crusty bread to sop up all the juices as well as tangy green salad to balance out the sauce’s richness. Or, try it over pasta, rice, mashed potato or polenta. 3 chicken breasts
Salt and black pepper
1/4 cup / 30g flour
3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, plus more as needed
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp dried oregano
Red-pepper flakes
1 cup / 240 ml low-sodium chicken stock
3/4 cup / 180 ml heavy cream
1/2 cup / 45g grated Parmesan
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil
Fresh basilINSTRUCTIONS:
1. Use a sharp knife to score the chicken breasts in a diamond pattern.
2. Season both sides of each breast generously with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil and melt the butter on medium heat.
4. Dredge chicken in flour and shake off any excess.
5. Brown the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer onto a plate.
6. Reduce the heat to low, add the garlic and cook, stirring often, until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.
7. Increase the heat to medium, add the stock and bring to a simmer, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan.
8. Add 1/2 cup of the cream and warm through, stirring, until it thickens slightly, about 3 minutes.Add Parmesan. Allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes.
10. Season with thyme, oregano, red-pepper flakes and pinch of salt. 11. Add the sun-dried tomatoes then put the chicken back in the sauce and let the sauce simmer and thicken for about 4 minutes.
12. Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves 😘😋
