Vladimir Putin Becomes King in Russia: Control Oligarchs to the Mafia

Russia had one champion after the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s. He is Vladimir Putin. People know him as a (potential) dictator, a symbol of an iron fist, or his relationship with rich, twisted oligarchs. But, at home, seeing Putin is complicated. He was loved because he succeeded in bringing Russia back to life and became economically powerful. He is hated because he easily silences the voices of freedom and democracy.
