Who were these Gaza journalists, and why were they killed?

Since Israel doesn't allow journalists independent access into Gaza - much of the news has come from local Palestinian reporters: more than 70 of them have allegedly been killed by Israeli forces.
The most recent incident came on Sunday morning just outside Rafah in southern Gaza, when a car carrying three journalists was targeted by an Israeli drone strike. Two died along with their driver. Another was critically injured.
We’ve been investigating who they were and what happened to them.
Warning: distressing images.
