It's only the second week of 2024 and it's already shaping up to be a stellar year with many court proceedings wrapping up.

Kimberly had her appeal heard yesterday, and she rocked it! The proceedings didn't quit go as planned, however, she had a wonderful judge, and we are anticipating the evidence and the legal arguments will net in her favour.

Byron Carr's trial for criminal charges from the convoy wrapped up in Ottawa today. Unfortunately, the judge would not allow the public on the Zoom. However, we got an update that Byron held his ground in the courtroom like a champ!

Both verdicts are to come at a later date. Byron is set for Feb 14th and Kimberly's will arrive in the mail. Both judges have a lot of work ahead of them!

Lila amended her constitutional question, and this time the attack is PHAC and the Quarantine Act. Questioning the constitutionality of these Acts as they are not Canadian law, they are Acts used to implement foreign policies. The question, unfortunately, was not heard as Lila's charges were dropped. But we now have an excellent question template that can be used for other cases.
