Talk about a MESSED up freaking installation

This is at my neighbor's house. They tore our street up for weeks. And then another neighbor (several actually on the corners) has a giant UGLY HUGE box in his yard. And this is how they installed it??? I saw a bunch of guys doing it, and was thinking WTF???
Most people that got this internet said it sucks due to the crappy router they were given, and this is literally supposed to remain underground. How long you think this wire is going to last, being draped into the street and all. Geesh.
