Winter Freeze Up - Ep. 14 January 12, 2024

Things are progressing. The clear ice grew by 1/4 and the softer upper layer and rainwater are stiffening. The temps should stay below freezing enough to create more clear ice, but as the snow accumulates the insulating effect will slow ice growth. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Everyday is different from the last.
