The U.S. and UK's air strikes on Yemen have left the Houthis fuming. The Iran-backed rebels have vowed retaliation and warned both NATO Nations to prepare to pay a heavy price. Saudi Arabia urged against further escalation and called for self-restraint. Russia, on the other hand, called for an emergency UNSC meeting over the attacks. A former U.S. official has called Joe Biden's move a 'bad mistake.' American and British Navies attacked more than a dozen Houthi military sites in Yemen early morning with fighter jets and submarine-launched Tomahawk missiles. They called it retaliatory strikes following 27 Houthi attacks in the Red Sea on commercial ships.
