Time and a Half - Everspace 2 Episode 9 - Lunch Stream and Chill

Previously, on Lunch Stream and Chill...

Adam explored several areas of Union, bringing down outlaw bases, finding databanks for suspicious employers, and protecting trade routes. Satisfied with his impact, Adam flew to Avonrest with multiple goals in mind. Upon arrival, Coalition forces asked him to land immediately and questioned how he discovered Avonrest. They were under the impression that this location was protected from discovery. Adam told them it was not.

Concerned, the Coalition forces scrambled to set up signal distractors, but were attacked by outlaws seeking to take over Avonrest. Adam fearlessly jumped into help them, defeating the outlaws and earning the Coalition's trust.

With this handled, Adam went to the private hanger of Maddocks. Maddocks caught him off guard with a sidearm, but Adam turned the tables on him. After some conversation, he emptied the magazine and they began to trust each other.

The big job Maddocks and Dax had been working on was a viridium mining operation. The biochip they each had contained half of the location. With the two parts reunited, they could proceed. However, the Okkar are a concern, as they ban the mining of viridum. Maddocks encouraged Adam to visit a shady character who might have technology that will help them mask the mining ship from Okkar scanners.

After departing Avonrest, Adam returned to Ceto to combat some Bloodstar pilots. While there, he also visited the Charybdis Recycling plant, as a manager he met seemed interested in this as a business venture. While there, Adam met some Bloodstar who sued for peace, asking to work for Adam. After a tense conversation, Adam offered that they work to scavenge at the recycling plant with the newly installed manager there.

Adam returned to Union, ready to continue his Union Labor in Episode 9 of our Everspace 2 Let's Play Series, "Time and a Half."
